Thank you for your interest in being a vendor for the 2017 Carolina Beach Farmers Market! Please find below the market application and rules.
How do I apply?
For the 2017 Carolina Beach Farmers Market an emphasis will be placed on agriculture and food vendors and artist and crafter's residing on Pleasure Island. It is the goal of the 2017 market to have a higher percentage of agriculture and food vendors over artist and crafter's, since this is a Farmers Market.
The first step in the process is for all agriculture and food vendors to submit the application by March 31, 2017 and artist and crafter's by April 16, 2017. You may either submit the online application via email or print and mail the application. If mailed, it must arrive by April the date of the respective deadline.

2017 Farmers Market Application
The application deadline for the 2017 Carolina Beach Farmers Market has closed, unless you are a farmer. If you are a farmer that sells amazing produce and would like to attend the market, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. We are always open to accepting new farmers throughout the year.
What happens next?
- Within 48 business hours, applicants will receive an email acknowledging receipt of the application.
- After April 1st, the Carolina Beach Farmers Market Application Review Panel will sort through all food and agriculture applications and discuss approval. The approval process will be based on whether the application is complete, the vendor meets the established rules, the quality and uniqueness of products, and whether space is available. Either a letter or email will be sent to let you know if your application has been accepted. If accepted, an invoice will be sent with the letter. The invoice must be paid by Tuesday, May 24th.
- Once we know all the agriculture and food vendors we will make a determination of how many artist and craft vendors will be accepted to the market. Priority will be given to Pleasure Island vendors and previous year vendors who meet the established rules and the quality and uniqueness of products. We do anticipate less vendor spaces for artist and crafter's as the goal of the market is to have a higher percentage of agriculture and food vendors. Once applications are received the Carolina Beach Farmers Market review panel will sort through the applications and discuss approval.
- The review panel consists of Pleasure Island residents that have an interest in volunteering with the Carolina Beach Farmers Market. If you would like to be considered for the review panel, please email email@example.com
As a general rule we only allow craft vendors spaces for no more than 7 dates throughout the season. If you are selling agricultural or food items, then you may apply for a full season.
