2025 Parking Program Changes

At the January 14, 2025 meeting, Town Council adopted new regulations for public parking across town for the 2025 season. Changes are listed below:

Re-Entry Pass (annual)                      

  • Cost: Free if obtained January 1 – March 31; $20 each if obtained after March 31.
  • All Carolina Beach residents and property/business owners are eligible to obtain an annual re-entry pass.
  • Vehicles parked in undesignated residential parking areas require a current re-entry decal.

Residential Parking Pass (annual)       

  • Cost: $30.00 each
  • Full time residents of Carolina and Kure Beach may purchase an annual residential parking pass for each vehicle registered in CB or KB.
  • Property or business owners that are not full time residents may purchase one annual parking pass for each listed property/business owner.
  • The annual residential parking pass is only valid in parking lots and on-street parking spaces identified as accepting residential parking passes. CLICK HERE for details on where the annual residential parking pass is valid.

Low Speed Vehicle/Golf Cart Pass (annual)*

  • Cost: $100.00 each
  • LSV parking passes may be purchased by anyone and can be utilized in all Town owned parking lots and spaces. CLICK HERE for details on where LSV and Golf Cart passes are valid.

*Effective July 1, 2023, only golf cart owners that have purchased a pass in the previous calendar year may continue to renew their pass; no new pass applications shall be allowed; golf cart pass sales will end December 31, 2027 and only state registered low speed vehicles (LSV) will be permitted.

Non-Resident

  • Cost: $100
  • CBD Employees: Central Business District businesses may purchase annual parking pass for their non-resident employees; passes may only be purchased by the business owner/manager.
    • The CBD Employee parking pass is only valid in parking lots and on-street parking spaces identified as accepting annual residential parking passes. CLICK HERE for details on where the CBD Employee parking pass is valid.
  • Non-resident visitors may purchase a week-long parking pass that is valid for seven (7) consecutive days; visitor parking passes are valid in all Town operated lots and spaces.

 

Parking and golf cart passes may be purchased online starting January 20th. CLICK HERE to purchase online.  In person sales will begin on January 21st at the following locations:

Town Hall-1121 N. Lake Park Blvd.
Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM (except holidays)

Parking Office-1708 Canal Dr.
Monday-Sunday, 9AM-5PM (except holidays)
