The Town of Carolina Beach is part of the Southeastern NC Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan and is working together with other municipalities to update its Hazard Mitigation Plan to become less vulnerable to natural disasters. The plan identifies and assesses the region's natural hazard risks and identifies strategies that determine how to best minimize or manage those risks.
