North Carolina Victim Assistance Network is available for assistance you if you are a victim of a crime.

NC SAVAN, is a criminal justice information-sharing system that supports automated victim notification.  NC SAVAN operates a 24-hour toll-free automated offender information and notification service.  Individuals may call the toll-free number, 877-NC SAVAN, (877) 627-2826, to learn about an offender's status, to register for offender notification or to learn about victim assistance resources in their area.

New Hanover County Victim/Witness Program The District Attorney's Office has assembled a team of Victim Witness Assistants to assist victims and their families during their involvement with the criminal court process.
Coastal Horizons Center, Inc. promotes choices for healthier lives and safer communities by providing a continuum of professional services for prevention, crisis intervention, sexual assault victims, criminal justice alternatives, and treatment of substance use and mental health disorders.

Wilmington Domestic Violence Shelter For 28-years, Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc. has empowered victims and their families to break the cycle of domestic violence by providing shelter and on-going support services, as well as public awareness and prevention programs. 

CoastalCare manages and oversees mental health, intellectual/developmental disability and substance use services for residents of New Hanover county.

New Hanover County Senior Resource Center and Special Needs The Registry is a computer list of individuals who live in New Hanover County and have special physical, medical or functional disabilities that would place them at higher risk in an emergency event such as a hurricane.

The United States of America is principally a transit and destination country for human trafficking. It is estimated that 14,500 to 17,500 people, primarily women and children, are trafficked to the U.S. annually.

The National Human Trafficking Resource Center is a national hotline available 24/7 via phone or texts in regards to reporting a tip, request training or connect with anti-trafficking services in your area.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is committed to protecting the public and ensuring that victim rights are observed. Once someone is placed in the custody of ICE the Victim Notification Program will provide information to victims and witnesses who register to be notified.
