The Town of Carolina Beach Town Council adopted new regulations for public parking across town for the 2025 season. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions related to the changes.

What permits will be sold and who is eligible to purchase?

• Residential Annual Parking Pass: Carolina and Kure Beach residents and property/business owners may purchase annual residential parking passes.
• Low Speed Vehicle Parking Pass: Anyone can purchase a LSV parking pass
• Golf Cart Permit: Effective July 1, 2023, only golf cart owners that have purchased permits in the previous calendar year may continue to renew their permit. This permit also serves as a parking permit.
• CBD Employee Parking Pass: Central Business District business owners may purchase annual parking passes for their non-resident employees.
• Re-Entry Pass: Carolina Beach residents may obtain/purchase re-entry passes; will be used to allow parking in undesignated residential areas.

Where are the annual residential parking passes valid?  Annual residential parking passes are valid in the following Town operated locations:

• ALL on-street parking south of Carl Winner Ave.

What is the cost for an annual LSV/Golf Cart parking pass? $100.00

What happens to the designated golf cart spaces on street ends, for example Spartanburg Avenue? There is no change in parking policy related to designated golf cart spaces.

Where are CBD employee parking passes valid? Anywhere annual resident parking passes are allowed.

What is the cost for a CBD employee parking pass? $100.00

How does this affect the north end resident parking during flooding? The Town will not enforce parking during Town recognized flooding events on the North End.
